I have been a fan of Frank Sinatra for as long as I can remember. My parents grew up listening to him.  He grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, a neighboring town of my father's.  His music was always playing in our home.  Several years ago, I finally had the opportunity to see "Ole Blue Eyes" in concert in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was one of his last performances.  For me, it was the thrill of a lifetime!

Like so many others, I feel as though I have lost a dear friend.  Thankfully, his music will continue to live on in our hearts. This site is my way of saying, "Thank you, Mr. Sinatra, for all of the wonderful memories. I will miss you very much!"

The man may be silent now, but The Voice will live forever.

IN LOVING MEMORY
The world will miss you!

Francis Albert Sinatra

Here's To Ol Blue Eyes is a lovely song  composed and performed by Mike Williamson.  Be sure to visit Mike's site.

Here's to the songs he'd sing.
Here's to the "ring-a-ding-ding".
Here's to the singer who could really swing, swing with a band.
Here's to the musical memories, here's to the beautiful melodies
To Mr. Sinatra, I believe we owe him a hand.
Through all those years he was singin', singin' the songs of our lives.
Here's to the Chairman Of The Board. Here's to Ol Blue Eyes.

Here's to just One More For The Road.
He had the World Tied On A String and for The Second Time Around here's to
the man.
I don't remember just Where Or When but the sound Flew Us To The Moon.
It was his singing and all of his tunes that we loved.
Here's to that voice in The Wee Small Hours from the saloons to the silver
screen.
From Hoboken to Caesar's Palace; here's To Ol Blue Eyes.

Here's to you singin' Night And Day. Under Our Skin you're gonna stay.
You gave your All Or Nothin' At All, All The Way.
We Get A Kick Frank out of you and Nice And Easy it's so true.
Over the years you've been there too singin' your songs.
Frank thanks for the music, for all the hits and it's my pleasure to say
today.
You undoubtedly did it your way-here's to Ol Blue Eyes.
He undoubtedly did it his way-here's to Ol Blue Eyes.

The information below was published in
The Sinatra Family Album:

Last week was a very big one for our family. In Washington, D.C. we received Dad's Congressional Gold Medal, referred to by the United States Mint as the "Frank Sinatra National Medal", and at the Songwriters' Hall of Fame banquet in New York, we were presented with the first check for the Frank Sinatra Foundation.

Congressman Jose E. Serrano presented the medal to Nancy on Friday, June 5 in his suite at the Rayburn House Office Building. Some of Nancy's friends were there with flowers, cameras, champagne and, of course, a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Congressman Serrano made a moving presentation speech as Frank's niece Michele taped the ceremony. Serrano's dedicated staff looked on as the green velvet box containing the precious gift was passed from his hands to Nancy's. It was a very emotional moment and Nancy couldn't speak.

Afterward, plastic cups containing the honey-colored whiskey were raised in a toast led by Nancy, "To Poppa!"

Congressman Serrano then read a very moving letter from his son about Frank, which moved everyone to tears.

On Wednesday, June 10, the Songwriters' Hall of Fame honored Frank with a loving look at his career via film and television clips and presented a generous check to the Frank Sinatra Foundation. The foundation, in turn, will donate to the many charities Frank supported in his lifetime. Nancy assured all at the banquet that the legacy will most definitely continue through the Sinatra children and grand children. And that the bloodline and the beat DO go on.

The dedication of the Frank Sinatra Park in Hoboken is open to the public and took place on July 14th in what is was formerly known as North Park. After dark, there was a celebration with a dance band and fireworks.
